My slag of an ex-wife, after 3 years of letting me keep my kayak in her backyard out of the way from everything, has decided that I can't keep it there anymore (I'm sure it's the new boyfriends way of passive aggresive way of letting me know he's in charge). Yea, I'm pissed...
I live in an apartment, I don't know anyone else with a house around the area, and my fishing buddy lives an hour away. Storage places seem to want $80-100 a month for storage.
Looking for some ideas if anyone has any!

If your are living on the first floor then take it right thru the front door and store in your living room.
If you are on a higher floor, not sure of an answer. Maybe check with a local secure marina and see if they have an out of the way area to stow it with a cable and lock thru the scuppers, for 10-20 bucks a month.
Or offer the ex the same amount to keep it where you have had it.
