Great post Nick. Thanks for this. I have a pretty heavy tackle box full of whatever I thought I might need, and I have realized that much like my bass tackle, I pretty much use 4 lures about 90% of the time, so your video made me feel a lot better about sticking to what I have confidence in. My T-top currently has 4 rod holders, so I carry 4 rods when I'm alone inshore. They are rigged with a topwater walker, a jerkbait, and a jig head with a paddle tail swimbait soft plastic. I do like Matrix, they are tough and don't have to be replaced every other fish, and they have good action. I like the ultraviolet as well, and I carry some chartreuse Spike-It dye for when the water is stained and I want a little more color - I just dip the tail and keep fishing. The 4th lure I do like is a gold spoon, which took me some time to gain confidence in, but I sometimes catch reds on it when the other baits don't produce.

Thanks for the vids, for the advice you give freely, and your love of the sport. As soon as my budget gets a little less tight, I'll be hitting you up for some time on the water! Tight lines!
