Default Kayak fishing off of Tyndall?

Just got station at Tyndall and was thinking about launching off of Tyndall’s beach. Looking for some intel on what’s been working out there lately targeting pelagics. Thanks in advance guys.

All of that area is mostly inshore species. Check the water depths on a map and see how far out you need to go for deeper water.

You should be able to find spanish and king mackerel in the gulf past the second sand bar. Cobia move through there in the spring too. You can also get the occasional jack creville, blackfin tuna, mahi, sailfish, or tarpon (though those are more rare and not guaranteed at all).
Bottom fish like snapper or grouper will require sufficient depth and structure, and you will need a fishfinder or GPS to get on that structure. The pelagics all move through there though.
