Nah, I paid the extra $20 for the super duper titanium-carbon fiber NASA approved mirage drive...no worries. Lol yeah, Brandon makes a good point. A real paddle is a good back-up plan. I just don't worry about it. The half paddle saves some room and I keep all the tools I need to fix the drive in the boat. If it don't work, I'll just have to pay the consequences. To each his (or her) own.

Get the longest paddle you can find. Trust me, I speak from experience. Your Mirage will fail at some point, and you will have to paddle in.
