Default Gopro question for kayakers

Fellas, what pole/stick/mount are you guys using for your go pros while fishing. I'm thinking of one that would just go in rod holders but what's your set ups?

Find the Youtube video that Brandon made. It cost a few dollars however he did it right. Well worth it. I changed mine up to work better for my application however take what he shows you and go from their. I'll try to find it and repost

I bought a simple monopod from WalMart, I believe it was a Targus brand. You will need the GoPro tripod mount to properly attach the camera to the monopod though. I think the monopod is about $10.00 and the tripod attachment is about $6.00.

I also bought a carabiner and some para-cord like you said to secure it so it stays attached to the kayak. Then I shoved the whole get-up down the rod-holder. Its not as versatile as Brandon's setup, but I can use it to film underwater.

My favorite angle though is from the bow of the kayak looking back. That way, I can have 2 rod-holders available for trolling instead of having 1 occupied by the GoPro. I have a Scotty Rocket Launcher on my Ocean Kayak that makes a perfect mount for that sort of footage, like in this video: http://youtu.be/hQrwc9-QeRM
