A few more specks on topwater
Fished the tressel again this evening after school. Went for a paddle along the flats north but no tailers this time. Got back to the mouth in time for the topwater bite. The specks were there but not nearly as aggressive as yesterday evening. Probably the falling pressure plus not nearly as much mullet swimming out of the bayou. Got 2 to the boat, lost 4 others. All of the fish put up a great show on top. One speck never actually got the plug in its mouth, just knocked in the air 4 times on the way to the boat. Was pretty cool to see.
By the way, the last pic is of a pretty cool decoration job I saw leaving campus.

Looks like I left a couple behind, glad you caught some fish. I got one of those wiper bass, had a couple others but they pulled off.
