Default Bad year

Has anyone noticed this year has been rather crappy due to rough weather and lack of fish?? I mean we had an amazing cobia season but after that been very slow for king mackerel and other species. maybe im just comparing it to last year cause last year was absolutely incredible

The king bite over here (OB, Gulf Shores) was outstanding in late July and August but has fallen off a good bit in the past 2 weeks. I'm going the next 2 mornings so hopefully they have returned in the same numbers.

On a side note, I haven't caught a single cobe from the yak this year

This is been the worst year so far within my 4 years of kayaking at Navarre Beach for kings. (I didn't fish much in July and August due to poor weekend conditions I have to admit.) Maybe it will improve. It was the best year for sharks, but then they disappeared, so maybe the king fishing will improve. On a better note, 'tis the season for sailfish starting now! Hopefully, it will be at least half as good as it was last year.
