Well I thought I could wait till after deployment to get a kayak. Boy was ever wrong ! I was on craigslist and found a bunch of ocean kayaks being sold at really good prices. I was hessitant at first since I didnt think it seemea right that one person owned 10 kayaks. I emailed the person anyway and im glad I did.
The signiture on the email was that of
Jim Sammons one of the original kayak fishermen.

As many if you know he recently joined the Jackson Kayak team . So he had to make room for the new yaks that are coming in. I met up with Jim yesterday and purchased a trident 13 with a color
FF/gps and a surf to summit seat. He is a really easy going person that does not hessitate when it comes to sharing knowledge. I could have spent hours talking to him about fishing. I forgot to ask him but im pretty sure this yak has been on his Kayaking Fishing Show multiple times

He replaced the handles on the yak and gave me some brand new bow straps.
Before I left I got a picture and asked him to sign the yak .

Cant wait to start chasing
Halibut, yellowtail , and white sea bass!

By the way he said he and Jackson are designing a bigwater kayak so keep your eyes open for it . He told me of a few of his ideas but we will have to wait and see what the final product is.

Oh and as far as Jackson goes, if they came out with a pedal drive yak it would be a game changer!

Great looking kayak. Sammons signature adds a little to it. If you had told me that it was used in a Victoria Secrets photo shoot, I would have been much more impressed.
