Seen them eat the bloody leaves from deer I shot the day before. On more than one occasion.

I had a doe eat a doobie roach when I was in high school. Of course I've strayed away from that over the years, still pretty wild. She came up i watched her for about an hour or so, she sniffed the stump I had left it on for a minute, then just figured it would be a good way to start her morning I guess. I was saving it for a trail walk back to the truck.

Had one that "hung around the house" the wife had spread moth balls around the house because she heard it would keeep the critters from getting under the house. Actually watched it pick up one and heard it crunching. Wife thought for sure it would kill it. They also love chewing tobacco.

Yes but chewing tobacco is good!! I bet it didn't come back for more mothballs, they are made from some fairly nasty chemicals

There was a video on here a while back with a doe catching and eating a bird. We used to feed tame deer cig butts when I was a kid.

In Louisiana on a military base they found bullets in the deers stomach....supposedly the copper jacket oxidizing smelled good to them....article in Quality whitetails
