Default Up in YR

Been watching a scrape in an old roadbed since daylight. Just had a big doe come to it. She worked over the licking branch with her head pretty good. Does this mean she is hot? If so I need to sit here as long as possible.

I've seen the does do it too. If her tarsals were black, you may be in business.

Sat until after lunch and saw nothing else. On my way out came upon a road full of hogs about 40 yards ahead. By the time I got out with a gun they were gone. Probably exiting the swamp due to rising water.

Not sure about does and the licking branch. This time of year I have several does that lay near my feeder for hours. Always wondered if they were waiting on a buck to come by... actually, Iím pretty sure thatís what theyíre doin
