Default Spypoint questions

1. On the app under cellular it gives me a first transfer time option. The box to the right lets me choose an number between 1 and 59. What is this number?
Also. Im assuming the less transfers the better the battery life?
Iím a little confused on the whole transfer thing. Thanks for any help

The box to the right is the minutes for the time you choose. If you choose "Each Detection", it doesn't really matter what you choose for the first transfer time...but I think I did read somewhere that it will check in at this time regardless of having any pics to transfer. Otherwise, it's the time it will start sending the first pics and will send whatever "frequency" setting you choose after that.

I have 2 and I keep them on "Each Detection", but I have the delay while looking at feeders at 2 mins. That keeps the number of pics it's transferring down.

I have 4. Transfer each detection and use Energizer lithiums. If you dont use lithiums your gonna change batteries at best every 4 days.

Well of course itís the seconds lol. Duh! My bad
My old regular cam was set on a 5 minute delay and I got about 40 pics per day. Itís setup on a feeder that goes off 3 times a day. I can live only getting pics once a day if it saves battery life. Seems like this is gonna work pretty good

As mentioned above, use the lithiums.

edit: oh and it's minutes, not seconds.

for what it's worth, I have mine sent twice a day, 50 to 100 pics per day, regular batteries lasting a couple of months. I bought 2 of the 12 v spypoint batteries, damn tree rats ate through the cords so I'm on straight battery for now. When you look at the cost of the batteries or lithiums the 12 v seemed to be the better option long term because it isn't dedicated to one camera, if they shit the bed, just put it on another. Only been running them a couple of months, but so far, the best investment I have made, it distracts me twice a day from this misery called work
