Default My friends luck. Big buck no shot!!!

So my friend was climbing out of the stand at 9:45 and this bruiser came by. Well he lowered his bow a little to early. I always tell him to sit till at least 10 am. I am still laughing now But I do hope he gets a crack at him again.

Just north of Mobile. Actually just found out he was hunting public land then and not at the club....

Two more steps and a well placed and firm "snatch" may result in at least an exciting story!

Heck of a good buck and a fantastic photo. If I ever deviate from any plan I made regarding time, this is the result. Hang in there as long as you plan and know that it only takes 5 seconds for something big to happen. Same with fishing.

Sounds like something I would do - like throw a castnet over him with the rope on my wrist.

I think I would rather have that picture than the deer. Great picture. Frame it.
That happened to me a few years ago but not with a bow. I was lowering my rifle when I saw a buck coming. He was about 75 yards off when I saw him and was able to bring it back up without being detected.
