Default Manhunt near Blackwater

I had read this story on Northescambia. Then I heard this morning on the news of him possibly hiding out in Blackwater. The shooting occurred north of Munson in Escambia County, Alabama. I would just be on the look-out if you are near that area. Here is a link to the story:

I plan on hunting this weekend. Who else is ready to hit the woods?

I'm hoping they get him before Saturday, don't really feel like getting shot walking to my spot in the morning.

Man, I'm always cautious about someone getting the jump on me out in the woods... this past weekend, a buddy and I were hunting BW and when we got back to our trucks that evening, there was a man sitting there... he was panicked and talking frantically, saying something about his truck being stuck. He was wearing normal clothes and it was very odd he would be way back where we were and not be hunting... me being my normal "don't trust anyone" self told him to walk to his truck and we'd be there in a few... I grabbed my 870 from the back and set it in my front seat.... sure enough, this dude nose dived his very nice tacoma into a washout. We pulled him out and he was very appreciative, even tried to pay us... we declined.

I guess you never know who you'll see on the WMA. This time it was a good guy. Y'all be careful out there, and always pack some heat just in case it's a bad guy.

Always have 2 pistolas in easy reach. One in the truck and one on my person. Never had to pull one, yet. Except for the random armadillo roadside.

Pays to be prepared though.

Out of curiosity, is it legal to have a concealed pistol during archery season as long as you have a concealed permit?

As far as I know, Yes. Even if it isn't, I don't give a damn... I'll cross that bridge when I get to it.

In Florida you can have concealed or open carry when hunting. Also is you don't have a conceal permit you can open carry when hunting, fishing, or camping but it has to visible NOT concealed!!!

Just wasn't sure if the whole firearm thing would be a question during archery. I guess as long as you're not shooting at animals with it.
