Thanks for the responses. Vanderpol's quit processing this year. Just got off the phone with Thompsons, the hog has to be quartered and on ice.

Once you are here, it's a short few cuts to hams and bacon! I have an old hand-style grinder that makes pretty good sausage, just finding the time is a pain.

Wish I had a walk-in cooler, would be great to hang 2 or 3 deer and a hog or two, then have a grinding party. It'd be worth buying an electric grinder.
