Default Ideas for a target stand?

does anyone have any home-made stands they use to staple/nail/tape their shooting targets to? looking for some ideas. i've got some 2x4's laying around the house and can put something together with them, but it just got me thinking if maybe someone had a better idea.

I have used old realtor signs in the past, the type with the metal frame. I went to office depot and p/u some of those metal spring loaded clips and just clipped my targets to frame. Worked great for me.

Yep, that's what I use. I just use the cheap ones that stick into the ground. Politicians use them too. There are all kinds of them beside the road that aren't supposed to be there.

You can do it all kinds of ways.....I have about 100 of them political signs and just replace them when they get shot up too much. There is a sign guy in Navarre on 98 near the Okaloosa line that sometimes throws out new signs either out of date or messed up print so you might get some of the signs there. The frames can be bought at any hardware shop....

All of the above and the "H" shaped wire used between courses of concrete blocks I get left overs from building sites, but Lowes or the Depot probably has them cheap. Also if you bury 2 pieces of PVC pipe in the ground you can make a frame with your 2x4's that will slide down into the pipe and is removable. Find some large pieces of cardboard to use across the2x4 frameand tape or push pins to hold your paper target to the cardboard.
