Default Hunting/shooting in local bayous

Hey all,

I moved to Florida a 10 months ago and starting to look into hunting here. Have done it back home in Oregon.

I live on bayou texar and have ducks come over frequently.

As far as I know, since my lot size is less than 1 acre, I am not allowed to shoot in my backyard.

However, my back yard extends into the water and was wondering if I am allowed to shoot towards the water?

Am I allowed to get a kayak, paddle into the bayou and then shoot since there wouldnt be more than one dwelling unit per acre in the bayou?

I think if you tried it out one morning ,the entire bayou would glow flashing blue lights,lol...
Seriously, its just too populated to allow hunting in the bayous.....even though its allowed near villa venice/tiger point.....

Not really an accurate statement. I'd check with your local friendly DNR and ask about where it is allowed. There'll be many who say you can't merely because they don't want to listen to the noise at daybreak.
