A mouse made a nest in the insulation of our stove years ago. Even though I replaced all the insulation, we wound up throwing the otherwise perfectly good stove away because it stunk of mouse piss.

Caught the little bastard with a glue trap.

Maybe it is a squirrel. We made the mistake of putting poison out for what I thought was a mouse and it turned out to be a squirrel. Stunk so bad! It was in the wall. I had a huge dark spot from the dead squirrel juices staining the inside of my sheetrock.

Also had a run in with a coon once. He got in through the attic ventilation fan hole. That was not even slightly fun getting that mean little turd in a live trap and getting him out of the attic.

Lol, well its been a few days. Wife says she heard it in the wall in her room today? I have sealed ever inch of this off grade house underneath, outside, roof. Took 1/4" plywood and jigsaw and screws under there todag. Any hole found got a patch. Had 2. Both around plumbing lines. Its tighter than a gnats ass around any pipe now.

If I do not start smelling it soon, I am going to round up stray cats, and seal them under the house with bowls of water and thats it. I have read yhey can last 4-7 days on water alone. So if they get hungry, anything that moves should get caught!!!!

Only problem is no where is wet, lol. I have made it my mission to insure no leaks, no mold, no dryrot anywhere. And the house is sealed TIGHT. These cool nights are gonna be in my favor, I can open the house till I find it and not sweat to death
