Default Help finding stolen guns

I know it's a long shot but i'm posting in all the forums. Saturday night three guns stolen out of the back seat of my truck in Pensacola. A 1976 bicentennial ruger m77 30.06 with a meopta 4/12/50 scope a ruger m77 270 with a weaver scope and a CVA wolf muzzle loader with a konus scope on it....also my hunting clothes, this happened in my driveway in a neighborhood and a police report is filed but they don't seem to confident...if one of these crosses your path for sale please message me! a lousy way to start off hunting season w/no gun....

I'd check with local L.E. and see if other car burglaries are occurring in your neighborhood.
If not, then it is highly likely that the theft was committed by someone close, either in proximity, or knowledgeable of your situation.

Man that sucks I feel for ya, I'm on a several guns for sale sites on FB, I'll keep an eye out.

I often leave my guns in the truck when I'm hunting a couple days in a row, it would be a sad day to have them come up missing.

If you need a gun to use I've got a 30 06. Keep it all season if needed. Damn I hate a thief.

You may want to reconsider that. It would be easy for someone who hunts to pattern your behavior and know that there is the likelihood of a gun being in your truck at night. If they know it is gun season and see you walking into your home wearing camo but not carrying a gun - they can probably assume you left your gun in the truck.

It might be a lot easier to take the gun into the house and keep it safe. You won't have to deal with a stolen gun and busted windows.

Thanks Catcrusher for the offer....that restores a little faith in humanity but I just went out and bought another for this weekend which is really going to make Christmas slim this year but can't hunt without a gun. It really peaves me that people will steal what other people work so hard for...even stole my bag full of hunting clothes, my hunting jacket and a carton of cigs....damn i hate a thief...if they were poor and hungry i would have fed them but don't steal from me...
