Default Great week - no kills

Missed a nice buck early. Have had several nice ones at the yard feeder I passed on. Seen and heard more turkeys than ever. These 5 gobblers decided to walk across the driveway during this mornings hunt. Dallas county has no fall season (I think) so they got a pass till spring

On Thanksgiving day the three male turkeys that hang around out place came to the food plot FOUR times. They're more regular than the deer.

Tryín Hard, I went bass fishing up at Millerís Ferry Friday with my dad. We go every year. We didnít catch much, ended up with just 4 keepers. But, I did manage to catch a slab on a green pumpkin finesse worm. Went well over 2 lbs. He was on some wood cover. It made my day.

You know, if you need some help with those turkeys, I might could help.

The gobblers do the same thing every spring. Roost down at the mouth of the creek - other side from me on a 5000 acre piece of private property. The guy has a riverfront lodge in the middle of a 100 acre food plot with chufas planted all around the outside edge. Hens hit the ground and go straight for the groceries and the gobblers gobble their heads off and go right with them. Itís a freaking turkey zoo.
Congrats on the slab. Iíve caught a few on a snagless sally. I fished 3 or 4 days and only caught 7 all week.
