Default A Few New Bear Pics

Here are a few pics from the feeder over the weekend. This is the second time he has torn it up in the past 2 weeks. If he holds true he will disappear in a few weeks never to be seen again.

He has already gotten into the mountain house and torn up the barn. My mom took down her feeders and started using mine to get him away from the house. Enjoy.

There goes the staub.

There goes the lid.

No more corn. Fill this up "I'll be back"

Hopefully he will be back and get some more great pics. BTW, this is my most area and I have not caught a deer on any of spots since he moved in.

I'm surprised he left without tearing your feeder down. My brother (Marshall area) just called and he has alarge propanetank (maybe 100gal)he's converted to a feeder, it has a small square hole cut in the side, double chained to the tree with chain tighteners, it's secure. It's in its third year of service. He figured out through some more experiended folk he put out to much feed at once in years past, so he started this year out with just a little feed, when he went to check on it, the tank (feeder) had been bent to hell (never had that happen) and the bear had ripped it off the tree. I'm thinking this ain't no little bear. He's got 15 pics on the camera, but he's still old school so got to wait for the roll to get developed. He also has a feeder like yours, but it is suspended 15' in the air and 10' from any trees on cables, he had a boat winch which runs the cable through a pulley so he can lower and raise it with ease. It won't be long and you'll understand why. BTW Nice looking bear. One month and I would stick em. Oh, my brother's deer population disappeared within a day of putting the dog feed, pears, and bacon grease out, they don't mess around.
