Default Escribano Point quota

I got lucky and drew a quota permit for archery. Have any of you have hunted there before? Is it a good area to hunt? I've got a few spots near Munson that I think will be good (and a Bear Lake RV reservation for the same week), and also a promising spot in the East River archery-only area that's really close by.

I drew second week of archery too. All I’ve found out is there’s bears there. Looks like some September scouting is in order, I plan to put a cam or two out and try and pick 2 good spots. I’ll only get to hunt the first weekend of my quota time

I live on the water in Gulf Breeze/Midway. Itís about a 10 minute or less boat ride from my house. Iíve walked some of the property a few times. I saw tracks from deer, hogs, and bears. Super swampy, buggy, and snakey. The terrain is very similar to St. Vincentís island. Good luck boys!!

Skeeters are the size of birds and will swarm you and make you run out of there! Oh and there's hardly any trees to climb. Oh and the deer are pretty scarce in there. I got drawn there for one time and I will not go back!!!!

Hmmm. That's not the kind of nature I like to get close to.

Theoretically If I return the quota do the points I had accrued get put back? Like everyone I’m itching to pull Hudson archery...

The area around Fundy Bayou there is an old Indian camp. Arrow heads can occasionally be found along the shores of the bay in that area.
