Default Decent 9 point

Had a couple days the kids couldnít go so skipped away solo for one last hunt before back to letting the kids try to do all the shooting and got a decent 9 point. Forgot hand signal thing again so may not count sorry again team I canít seem to get that right this year.

Since it was asked what he was doing I guess I’ll tell the whole story. As some of y’all know I mostly still hunt on public land in heavy dog hunting country. This is by choice and I know and hunt with the dog hunters too and love hearing dogs run I just prefer to sit in the woods and listen to em. Anyways there were 5 separate races going on south east and west of me all close enough to expect the deer to be there any second. All the while I have a doe feeding around under me without a care in the world. About 4:40 hear a deer in the river and this guy pops up the bank by me shook off and calmly looked around and started to feed. He came from the north right into where the dogs were burning it up on 3 sides did not pay them any mind at all. Just further evidence that the dogs do not bother the deer near as much as they bother the hunters and just bc some dogs run through your hunt isn’t over. They had been running all around me from about 8 that morning but didn’t bother the deer at all other than the ones actually being run.
