He's doing fine. That's my Great Uncle.......married my Grandfather's sister, so I think that's right. I'll tell him everybody is askin' about him, we have a family reunion comin' up next month in Oak Grove.

It griped his grapes as much as us that hunted there when they stole it all from us. He loved workin' that gate an seein' everyone. I miss it too. my family has hunted that place for three generations and many many cousins, uncles and brothers during that time. The main road isn't named Mason for nothing. (That's my last name FYI).

Please do let him know we all miss him and huntin upthere too - it is where I taught my 15 y/o how to hunt! I have a ton of good memories from Blue Water WMA. Mr Clayton ALWAYS had something nice to say and some good stories to bootand heis one of the only fellas I know thathad a smile on his face at 4 in the morning - every morning, without fail! Tell him I said hello, he would probably not remember me by name - but I know he remembers the car!lol (Silver 2003 Toyota Camry) as well as my buddy Chip, he drove a lil brown '98 chevy S-10 extra cab...he always carried my deer out for me.

That was a great place, full of great people!! I also made plenty of great memories in there, and took some damn fine deer. I sure miss going through those gates before dawn and after dusk. Blue Water is a place that I think we will all miss for years to come.
