Default Blackbelt Hunting

I thought I’d share a great hunting place in Central Alabama. I’ve hunted with these folks several times. My son took his first decent racked buck here. Their deer herd is well managed, and they have great turkey and hog populations too. Plus some good fishing in the farm ponds and lodge lake.

All “fair chase” over green fields, feeders (Alabama legal now!) and natural timber. This is not a high fence place.

They have a new lodge, and what I like is they only hunt 6 or fewer per group. So you aren’t crowded and you have a good many choices of where and how to hunt. They don’t charge a “trophy fee”, so you know the spend up front.

Check them out at Blackbelthunting.com. The photos show the quality of the bucks, and other game, available. I can’t wait for this year’s trip!

Probably so Haha! The strangest thing is that I started a new job in June. Last week I find out that my boss has a 1300 acre hunting camp 2 miles down the road from the place that I grew up on. Dad sold it years ago.

Sardis has some pretty farms. If any of y’all are ever in Sardis on a Saturday night in January, stop by Central Alabama deer processing on 41 and just tell Jamie you wanna look. Monster bucks stacked up and still coming in for processing!
