Default Best hunting/gps app for iPhone

I'm looking for an app that as I'm trailing a deer in the woods that will tell me where all I have been.

I always used this one. It works great when you have terrible signal just make sure you look at the map ahead of time when you do have signal and they load just fine. There are trailing option so when you find blood you can mark it. You also have maps and aerial photos you can choose from, mark your stands and save them, compass, moon and sun. I have always been happy with it.

OnXMaps Best hunting/gps app for iPhone-image-125417464-jpg I like this app because it shows your position in relation to property/parcel lines.

I also like to create maps on Google earth using my computer in order to create my own points and features that I can export in a format compatible for use with my google earth phone app

Here is a screen shot of a map I created on my computer and exported to use with my phone while in the woods...

Technically you can draw and create features using OnXMaps but it's much easier to do from a computer and then only use the apps as viewers

You will have to have cellular service for either of these options to work

Ive used mytracks while scouting BW its pretty accurate and easy to use.
