Measure center to center or outside to outside and subtract the bullet diameter not center to outside. Also shoot 5 shot groups and you'll really see where you stand. Looking good though.

This was a total of six shots back to back.group almost same size between 40 and 40.5.41 wasnt bad either but i know where to start for my next sets.im going to make up 3 each going from 39.8 to 40.8 and pick the best group from there.this load drives tacks.now id i can find a load that will shoot the accubonds.the vvn-140 didnt do so great.1 inch groups.i just got 5 lbs of varget so im going to try that with the accubonds.

"The only interesting guns are accurate guns" or something like that.

Looks like you have one there. Are you shooting a bull barrel?

My uncle used to tell me to drink a beer between shots - just to let the barrel cool properly.

I can touch bullet holes all day long at rest at 100 yards with my stock X-Bolt .270 slinging cheap WalMart CoreLokt lead. It's when there is horn and hooves at stake that my accuracy suffers. Luckily, I only need pie plate accuracy for DRT!
