No deer (per 5 guys hunting different parts of Bay County) . This guy came strolling out around 0800. Text a pic to the wife who replied she wants a full body mount. Expensive morning for sure!

As a side note... I sent my GF off to sit a feeder about half a mile from the truck.

She jumped a few deer walking out, and she also took this picture.

She now understands the frustration... right in her boot tracks from where she walked in.

One of my guys was sitting on his tailgate changing clothes after the hunt this morning when a doe pops behind him on the logging road. He scoped her, but didn't shoot.....didn't seem like fair chase to him. I guess I am the same way.

She's lucky she didn't step out in front of me! I've got doe tags and I'm mad at em!

What do you think the green collar is on that deer for? Deer study or pet?

The collar could mean anything but one thing it definitely means is that the deer was raised by people and is not scared of people. It's not fair to that animal to send it back into the woods without some way of telling people so they pop a big bright collar on it so you don't shoot it.

You saved a few turkey poults with that shot. Are those Lacrosse boots? Santa brought me money for new boots, and I'm looking for pac boots like that.

Did you see anything that looked like a radio tracking device on the collar, or just a collar?
