Anybody out?

Had two little bucks sparring at first light. Doe come barreling down the hill behind me with a black coyote on her tail. Couldn’t get the gun up fast enough but sling some lead anyhow. I’m bow hunting and couldn’t get my pistol out of the holster.

Not gonna sit two terribly long, got to get back and pack up meat and get home.

Going this afternoon to escambia. Yesterday was dead, didnt even see a squirrel! Hoping whatever determines their activity tells them to walk around some this evening.

Well my son shot at a doe this morning,he text me he was looking for her, no blood no hair nothing, so I figured he just missed, told him to leave that spot and get in another one, he did, he was there about an hour then called me and said he wanted to go back and look again, so we went together, long story short we found her, only blood was where she was laying, so It was a huge relief on him that we found her

Tried a new spot based on wind direction. Walked in and saw THREE ladder stands within 200ft of each other...nope! Sativa spot I walked a couple years ago, looks nice, sat in the rain and didnt see a thing. Heard shots so something was moving, just nowhere near me of course. Already feeling the burn out coming on!
