Decided to sit in a grassy bottom this morning since Weatherbug says 26 feels like 19 with tis wind. Built this ground blind before the season started and haven't sat in it. Last week there was a foot of water where I am at. I don't think the chase has started in this section of YR.

Actually it is not that bad. Got HotHands on my toes and in my pockets. Got so many layers on that lifting a gun to my shoulder may be difficult. I can tell by the sun that the water has receded and is now about 40 yards out in front of me. Just had a doe run by, but no buck so far.

I guess I am one of the most unlucky persons on the forum. Spent more time in the woods this year than most and see nothing but does. Maybe I need to leave YR and go to BW.

These toe warmers have died so I won't be here much longer. The one in my pocket is still hot. Will stuff one of them in each boot tomorrow.

Order a set of boot blankets. They work great.

I was surprised how warm my feet stayed yesterday with good socks and my new muck boots.
