eyeofmine lens works very well. Don't bother with the professional grade, they are basically the same. I believe that the only difference is the protective ring around the pro style. It drastically improves picture taking, though there is a tiny bit of vignetting around the edges. you can easily crop it out. Video quality has improved as well, If you're using the gopro mostly for diving/spearfishing, I would highly recommend it.

There are cheaper options (lens replacement kits) out there too for around $40, but remember that these scratch more easily and are not recommended for above-water shooting because the lack of curvature on the lens will cause water droplets to stick to the lens. If, like me, you use the gopro for above water and below-water shoooting, I would opt for the new case for it. Here's a pic with the flat lens and without.

+ 1 for the flat lens, you can see a dark ring around the video but the quality is well worth it! Lost the email with the sender info but I paid 30 and seems like there are cheaper, still high quality options out there that are a better value

Makospearguns = class operation with great customer support. If you purchase your GoPro from them (as I did), the flat lens comes free.
