Personally, I don't like a leg mount. If you're riding an AJ, it's hard to pull the knife from your leg for the kill. I mount mine to the BC. That way you are not reaching for it..everything is close. Also, I've lost a couple knives when mounted to my leg...during a fight, they tend to come loose. In/on the BC, it is better protected from getting knocked loose.
