Default Anchoring dive flag

Hats the best way to anchor a dive flag? I see they make these screw type anchors, but that requires you to descend before your flag is out. And a weight on the bottom may not hold or be easily retrieved without a boat. The depth I am normally at is <70ft

IDK if there is a "best" way but, a kayak anchor should work good.

The area is very tidal. So currents can pick up quickly. Ad when you add in a sandy bottom, idk if a kayak anchor would hold.

You don't think this would hold a flag?

I don't know why, but that made me laugh.... hard! Maybe it is my hangover.

Just add 10 feet or so of scope to your planned depth with one like this. Flag won't give much pull or lift, just give it room to lay over. The flukes will do the rest. If a rough bottom, you might lose it.
