That Sept 19th dive was one hell of a grocery haul. You had probably 30+ lions, a scamp, and even a slipper for bonus! Awesome!

What kind of lionfish bag and pole spear are you using? Where did you get them? I like the bag syle vs a pvc pipe. Nice videos!

The bag is an Armor lionfish bag, but I modified it with a cylinder and funnel like the Zookeepers use. It holds many more lionfish than the zookeepers and it is easier to manage when full and especially when empty. The spears are Hawaiian slings. I’ve never been accurate with pole spears and I’m much faster with the slings. The yellow one is garbage. The shaft diameter is too large and it has no power. In the videos you will notice several fish pulling off. The other sling is a small diameter aluminum shaft…great power and durable. It bends easy, but it is easily straightened.
