Default Thread size?

What is the thread size on pole spear tips? I haven't spearfished in more than 30 years but I seem to remember 5mm.

what kind of polespear? saltaddict is right, most of them are 6mm

Yes 6mm or sometimes 5/16-24
Adapters can be bought at any dv shop. To go to or from either one.

Default home made pole spear for sure.

I couldn't remember the thread size. I made my first paralyzer point in about 1975 or so. I probably sold 50 for $5 each. I need to make one for my son so I needed the thread size. All you need is a 2-4" 6mm bolt and 3 bicycle spokes.

I'll make a couple tomorrow and post a photo so you can DIY.

Default can't find decent bicycle spokes

Today's spokes bend easily. The ones I used years ago were sort of a spring steel. Yeah, the rusted but lasted a long time if you wiped them down with cooking oil. I have an old SS antenna around here somewhere. I'll try it.
