Default Recent Trips Freediving - Cobia, Snapper, Mackeral

I've been out a few times the last few weekends and thought I'd give a quick report. Viz has been pretty bad for the most part. Cleaner up top the few days I've been with a bad murk layer (10ft viz) in the middle with a cold thermocline. Dove some wrecks out of Orange beach as well as some rigs to the west. Snapper have been abundant as usual and we have gotten some decent ones up to around 18lbs but no monsters yet. Still some ok Sheepshead around and Mackeral are super thick. We shot some big spanish and some kings as well. Also scored a nice bonus Cobia last Saturday. Looks rough for the weekend. Charts show some really good water to the east and hopefully it clears up soon enough over this way.
