OK so videopad worked but man is the quality way worse than the one on my facebook page. Certainly lower quality than the original on my computer. I guess I will lower the resolution to 970 while filming??

I had the camera angled slightly high to avoid the computer/guage checking. This made for a poor view of the action. I guess I will live with watching the computer checks or conciously do them when I can edit them.

First gopro video shot, edited, and uploaded. I'm calling success.

Hope you guys like it.

Nice video. I bet you used the regular case for the gopro, and not a flat lense one. THAT makes the difference. I couldn't believe how crappy and out of focus my first video was when i used the regular lense case.

Yes I used the regular lens. I have the flat lens on order. However, if you could see the difference between the video on youtube, my facebook page, and my hard drive- they are night and day. Youtube looks like the vis is 15ft. Facebook the vis looks 30 ft. My hard drive is crystal clear with the true 50 ft of vis that we actually had. I am sure somewhere on videopad when uploading to youtube, I didn't click on the proper resolution to upload. But after 4 days of banging my head against it... it is what it is.

Thanks, glad you guys liked it. We are headed out Monday if the weather holds. Video #2 coming soon

This youtube video is only 240p. Make sure when you publish the video to your computer and to youtube, that you're using 1080p or 720p whatever you shot the video in.
