Default Gear Question

What type of scissors do you recommend for clipping lionfish and also what is a good type of gig for lionfish and flounder?

ie - 5' vs 7' ; tip vs prong

Thanks

Surgical scissors the ones with blunt ends. So you don't have an accident underwater.

The gig depends on what you doing. On a boat I'll use anything from 10-12ft with a 5prong. My wading gig is 6-8ft with a 4prong.

I use a 3-prong paralyzer tip for lionfish. Be sure to get the spring steel version.
