Default Extra shaft mounts

I have a wooden riffe, I think I am going to try free shafting this summer. I looked on their website but didn't see any type of spare shaft mounts. Have any of you guys shooting wood riffes used another companies with success, also any issues with the loaded shaft due to not having a line crossing of at the muzzle end.

Riffe's are really free shaft guns. You need a closed muzzle or a gun with an enclosed track

I have a wood riffe but it has and open muzzle and not enclosed track. I hate to buy a new one just to try it out free shafting

I shoot the standard riffes all the time with no muzzle line. It shoots fine, you just have to be careful loading it to make sure you don't torque the spear shaft off to the left or right. Once the bands are in place I've had no issues with it. as for extra mounts a guy I know just uses spring clips from Lowes, only problem is they rust up real quick

You might see if the Ocean Rhino shaft mounts would work. Kevin Bruington (owner of Ocean Rhino) is one of the most helpful guys that you will find.

Also, some guys epoxy a magnet into the muzzle to keep the shaft in place without wrapping the line over. Just be aware that Neodymium Iron Boron magnets (strong little buggers) will corrode and need to be protected with a layer of epoxy.

check these out from Koah, seems like they should work on any wood gun.
