Default Diving Like Crazy

I haven't been able to post lately simply because I have either been diving or working for the past 2 weeks. In a span of 9 days, we made 5 trips out of Orange Beach or Dauphin Island. The first two trips were on 6/29/12 and 6/30/12 out of Dauphin Island with a crew of Mitchell, Fred, Paul, and myself. Both days came with an easy limit of snapper, several black snapper, scamp, and a few bugs. The biggest snapper of the two days was a sow weighing 27.1# that I was fortunate enough to get. The following Tuesday, 7/3/12 me and Fred decided to take some visiting family out on a quick trip just because they have been dying to see what me and him are constantly taking off work to go do. They picked a heck of a day to go as 3 out of 4 dives we had multiple bull sharks entirely too close for comfort, and some of which even took swipes at our wounded fish. Thursday, 7/5/12, we headed out of Orange Beach with a crew of Fred, Hunter, Matt, and myself. Another easy limit of snapper came with a few more black snapper. Saturday, 7/7/12 Hunter and myself took off to Dauphin Island to jump on the boat with Mitchell and Tony. Tony took the biggest snapper of the day with a 27.5# sow. All the trips were blessed with solid manageable seas and weather, and awesome memories on the Gulf once again. Here are a few pics from the trips. Now, I'm going to take a nap so we can do it all over again.

Happy Diving,
Dustin

Glad you posted our pics, and the one with us holding the bugs makes me laugh. Those little suckers scratched me up and you can see the red marks. that's what happens when you stuff them under you dive sins since you don't have a goodie bag.keep you gear ready , I'm going to teach you how to fill your freezer with flat boys.enjoyed the diving!

I used to dive a ton when I lived in central florida where you could go 20-30 miles off and still be in 90-100'. Just curious, at 20 miles, how deep are you out in this neck of the woods and how is the vis out there?

Cool blue streak is right on, 20-25 miles gives you 90-110 feet of water.
