Nice to be back in the water again, we hit some bridge rubble. The water is toasty up top, especially with a 50 yard swim back to the boat (we surfaced away from anchor line on the last dive after some miscommunication about air and bottom time with one of the divers). In 85 feet of water once you hit about 30 feet down the vis was great about 50 feet and the brightest I have ever seen it (still a newbie) if it wasn't for the rules it would have been a great trip tons of red
snapper, couple of gags, and some under sized triggers all over the place. I did snuff a lion fish only saw two all day. We loaded up on flounder which made some fine fish tacos last night. I chased the biggest black snapper I have ever seen but never got my shot. 3 dives, food on the table, flat and calm gulf, and good time catch and release snapper during surface intervals.
