Default 2 anchors lost at I-10 bridge rubble

Well the first one I thought we were dropping on the edge of the rubble pile. Sure enough, it was stuck real good. Even with everything we had to pull it in different directions it wouldn't budge.
So I re-positioned and it looked smooth on the bottom and what should be 100 ft away from the rubble pile. Fished a while and again, couldn't budge it. Yes, four letter words were flung at the anchor and myself.

If anyone finds them, I'll pay to get them back. They are older, galvanized, danforth 35 lb. anchors with about 75 ft of 5/8" rope and chain. One has colored markers every 30ft.
THEY ARE LOCATED AT:
30 Degrees 06'.716 N 087 Degrees 25'.297 N
30 Degrees 24'.064 N 087 Degrees 14'.983 W

Thanks!

I have been there. Now I fish a wreck anchor on the rubble, at the edge, and on wrecks (which we seldom fish). It's a bit of a pain to change out anchors on the windlass but worth it. I use a Might Might #16. Holds a heavy 30ft boat pretty well.

Rig them to break away. Ours stuck at the edge yesterday but the zip ties broke and it came out. Happens all the time to us.

FWIW, one of the numbers you posted is Bayou Chico.

I'll have to wait till I have the chart plotter back on the boat to ID the other pile. It's pretty obvious from tracking being on..
