Default ECRC - May - Niceville

what a day!

Tony and I had a blast seeing everyone again and competing in another great event. We fished a South shorline all day long. We made our run first thing in the morning to a proven stretch of shoreline that runs for about amile. We started on the Eastern end of it and made it last 8 hours. Thank goodness for the POWERPOLE. I don't think we could have fished today without it.

We managed one redfish at around 10:30 on a Gold on Gold Capt. Mikes spoon. The fish was just under 3lbs and was good enough for a 9th place finish. We also managed to catch several trout with one being right at 22" and good enough for a 3rd place finish in the Trout Calcutta. It was a tough bite for us. We had four bites and four fish.

Great time seeing everyone and a HUGE thanks to all of our sponsors. The weigh in was a lot of fun.

We'll see you guy's in Panama City at the end of the month!!

It was a helluva day for us, ran to West Bay and got our tails handed to us on the way in. Foggy just about all day and cleared out in time for weight ins. Thanks again to Jimmy, Curtis and all the people at North Light. It was a pleasure seeing everyone again. Some dude was walking around telling everyone his buddy the "Mogan Man" was suppose to be there but I think I left before he arrived. See yall in PC...man Im looking forward to that tournament.

We ran to west bay also and got killed by the waves on the way back. Ended up catching 6 reds but we paid for it on the ride. Took one wave over the front that filled the boat with 300 gallons! Hopefully one of these tournaments has nice weather! See yall on at the next one.
