39th Annual Bill Hargreaves Fishing Rodeo ~~ June 19-21, 2009
I guess I am posting this a little late, Hahaha.
At the time, I did not know how to manage videos on You Tube, and then forgot where I kept the video.
Today I ran across it.
I was blessed to be asked by Old Flat Head Tom and his wife to take a bunch of little sweet heart girls fishing for this rodeo. FishnLane and Mitch (Forgot his screen name) came along as deck hands and made sure the anglers had fun.
We started with a breakfast casserole on board the Playin' House in the marina to make sure they had plenty of food in their belly. Then off to fish, with crock pot chili dogs simmering away.
We fished three mile bridge, and once all anglers caught a fish, they lost interest in fishing, and wanted to swim the rest of the day. So we went to Deadman's Island, and then to Fort McRea for swimming activities. Then went to Grand Lagoon Yacht Club for the weigh-in.
Then on Sunday, we went to the awards. This was such a fun day!!!!
Here is the video, that one of the girls mother that came along; produced for me.

Thanks for the wonderful memories BT. We really enjoyed participating in this event and still have some of the young folks as friends. Time flies when you are having fun!
