Fished today on big, full moon tides, with negative lows, dirty water and a good bit of wind. Figured we'd trap ourselves in the back of a creek during the low and see if we could find 'em. We spent the last couple hours of outgoing, and the first couple of incoming catching Reds pretty consistently. Most of the Reds were lower to mid slots, but got a couple right at the top of the slot. It wasn't fast and furious, but we worked a little 50 yard stretch and ended up with 18 Reds. Water temps creeped up to 62.8 degrees and all fish were caught on Gulps and shrimp, pinned on jigheads. The negative low gave the kids a nice sandbar to roam on. All in all, a great day on the water with Michelle & kids, and everybody got a chance to get in on the action. Fishing should only get better as we get away from the full moon, and looks like the good weather is gonna hold.
