The marinas at night have been successful to me.
I used to fish in the marina next to the president casino after I lost my money.
It was much cheaper to fish in the marina at night rather than slinging slots inside.
The president was taken by Mother Nature. I don't know what is there now, but I do know there are marinas with lights everywhere on beach blvd

I sure can point you in the right direction if you were on the Pascagoula side.

BUT, if I were fishing trout and reds I would head up Fort Bayou.

Thanks guys...I live in Hattiesburg (stationed at Camp Shelby) and am heading back out with my Army buddy to see if we can catch some trout and reds. I figure I'd use a popping cork with floro leader and some gulp shrimp on a jig-head...any suggestions for rigging?

I live in hattiesburg also. I've had decent luck in pass christian marina for trout and flounder at night. This time of the year I'm mainly going after the shrimp at night and my buddies will sometimes take a couple and try to find some reds and blackdrum. have found them on the walk on pier in ocean springs bridge. my go to are popping cork --> 25 lb fluoro leader --> live shrimp/savage gear shrimp. free line live shrimp on fluoro leader. carolina rig with live shrimp. all depends on current.

I've had some luck at the marina on keesler when I was there. It was hit or miss. Wait till the lights come on, and catch shrimp for bait
