Default Our fall trip to Eufala

Me and my neighbor are at his place on Cowiki Creek. Caught all short bass this morning. No keepers. Decided to use the noodles this afternoon and try to catch some catfish. Used mullet for bait. Caught several and the one in the picture is the biggest.

Sounds like a pretty fun trip. I have wondered about the bass fishing there, since it's so 'famous' but I'm sure it gets hammered pretty hard by tournaments.

Tournaments do have an effect on Cowicki Creek. Numerous boats will come up to my friends place and catch what they can then take them back to the marina where they are released miles from where they were caught. Remove fish and don't restock the area. Not talking about an ocassional tournament, but at least 1 or 2 a week.

That's a lot of pressure.
