Default Bream - For a Change (Choctawhatchee)

A regular fishing buddy and I had to work hard yesterday morning to put 26 bream in the box. We kept everything we caught....7 small saved for cut bait later, and 19 nice eating size bream. Of course those eating size are prized by the flathead hunters, but they won't get these! So as not to be tempted to switch to catfishing we left the gear at home.
We fished the old river below Dead River which was the main channel eons ago. Today the main river is channeled through Boynton Cutoff.

Yeah, that Boynton Cutoff area was a little hairy IMO. When I haven't ran something in a real long time and I see new trees and stuff, it tends to make me slow down....down to idle speed. Good catches, I seen a ton of bream guys out there both days I was fishing there last week including some impressive fly fishing guys
