<DIV class=signature><SPAN id=body0>The day before we hit the close by rigs and were the only ones to venture out. That report is on Saltwater. Yesterday the winds were 15kts with gusts to 19 kts.

We eased our way out and started at rigs about 12 miles out. 2 rigs nothing. 8 miles more to a spot that I know holds good fish. Nothing at first.

Then when we dropped to about 300 feet they started.

Now that we had a limit of amberjack we moved another 16 miles to a floater. Mike loved the bean bags.

First we got bait. Although not my boat it is the same size and kind just to relate the size of the rigs compared to the boat.

This rig is a floater in about 3000 feet of water.

After making bait we managed 2 small blackfin. We were lucky to land them because we alsomanaged 2 baracuda and the other boat with us could not land any whole blackfin. I was marking good tuna down deep andsome near the top. Nothing was hitting. We went over a bunch that looked like they were comming to the top.

Suddenly one of them busts on one of our live bait. We saw it and knew it was a yellow, not big but a good one.

Unfortunatly that was to be our only one for the day.

Other boats only had one or 2 for the whole day so getting there late and hooking up was a lucky break for us. All in all we had a good day and had enough to make for a picture.

His name is Matt and he comes from Mississippi. He is a clean cut kid and loves to fish. He also knows what is going on and how to do it when it comes to fishing. He made a believer out of me last year when we chunked up a 200 plus blue marlin on an old single speed penn 30. Before the end of the 1 hour and 45 minute battle he and I were in tune with each other. We both knew what had to be done to get the fish in.
