Default Spur Trip 9/2 9/3

Spent Tuesday/Wednesday near the spur. Water blue with some big grass patches. Significant line running east to west, nicely made up with plenty of bait. Ended up with a box of dolphins to about thirty pounds, jumped off a white on Tuesday and a blue on Wednesday. raised other blue. caught a 70 lb tuna while swordfishing, no swordfish bites

Pretty fishy

Thanks for the heads up, big change from a couple weeks ago when it was covered in river water.

Flyliner,
We were the catamaran working that line with you on Tuesday and heard you talking to the guys on the only other boat out there, that we saw, when you were getting the dolphin early. That line really looked like it should have been loaded with fish. We got a couple of nice dolphin, but, overall were disappointed in the number of knockdowns for working it all day. We picked up two more fished shortly after we passed you headed back west late in the day. I heard the other guys say they saw a blue free jumping. Any idea how they did that day?

seabiscuit

they caught several good dolphin, a small wahoo, lost a decent dolphin at the gaff and had a blue bite

line was loaded with bait, I expected a few wahoo bites but never got one. we had intended to go further south and work the edge running north south but stopped short and it worked out
