Default Offshore on Tuesday 4/25

Just a quick trip to try and live bait for Blue marlin... Left GB around 9pm on Monday night for a run to the rigs... Blue water is south of Ram Powell...fyi Anyway, marked up some Yellowfin around some drill ships and caught two (we really didn't want to catch more than that) One was about 40 and the other was 100# +/- .

Bubba v. Tuna - Tuna almost pulled him in...lol

Porpoise kept eating our marlin baits...so after 8 baits, we packed it in and headed N. When I get them from my buddy, we have a couple of cool shots of Sperm whales up by Ram Powell...my first time seeing 30ft long whales in person...

Didn't start seeing flying fish until around the Elbow on the way back in...Steps area didn't seem to be holding much life on top, but that can change from day to day. Tons of scattered grass around Steps area, fyi. Barely troll-able.

Looks like another week or so before the next weather window! Good Luck all!

Still sounds like it was a great trip and congrats on the tuna. Was that in the tideline? I would be interested in one if it was in the 28 to 30' range.

They are making a 35'. Honestly, this boat rides and has the room to move around similar to a 28'. Been on a lot of boats...am very impressed with this one. Happy to take you out fishing, if you are interested in seeing how it handles. Didn't take the Tideline on this trip...but will be doing overnighters on it over the next few months. Can run from GB to Nakika, troll all day and get back without bladder... doing about 30mph to and from.

Those do look like fine boats. There's one over here in Destin and it looks really nice. I like the lower gunwhale on them. Thank you for the offer also.
On another note....lots of flyers over here in Destin and some nice looking water. Sargassum has been around and Portuguese manowars. Been getting a few chickens. Congrats again on those nice tuna!
